Jane Leslie’s composition “Dune Beach” was inspired by a beautiful beach on Long Island, New York. The piece has a sweet, expressive melody and pleasing harmonies, and is enjoyable and accessible for a wide variety of audiences. The instrumentation is for a traditional flute quartet — two C flutes, alto flute, and bass flute. The timing is approximately four minutes.
