Hi flutists! This video demonstrates how to “Code and Conquer” confusingly similar recurring patterns for speedy study, such as the grace notes in Le Merle Noire by Olivier Messiaen. This time saving practice technique can be applied to music of diverse levels (beginner – advanced), and in situations where similar/confusing motives or sequences occur 2 or more times.
