“Skate Suite” for flute, alto recorder, cello, piano, or harpsichord by Beth Anderson
I played flute age 9-21 and recorder later on. I love its sound and enjoy composing for it, especially when flautist friends ask for new pieces. This piece was originally commissioned by a choreographer and a new arrangement was written in 2012. I am open to having one or all of the movements played in concert. I have a lot of flute music including solos, duos, and another quartet for this instrumentation. My MSR CD, The Praying Mantis & The Bluebird, includes eleven of them.
